Here we are starting the wood forms for the concrete.  Karen assembled the 4 X 8 forms in the barn and then we hauled them down to the dam using Dave’s tractor.  We used a concrete saw to cut a smooth channel in the bedrock and then chipped out the rock with large crowbars.  The [...]

After the dam was cleaned we removed as much water from the area as possible.  Then we started putting up the re-bar and wire.  This was anchored into the old dam.  Dave Gahimer is helping.  He was a big, big help with the whole project. Mike Roe
