After finishing the forms we posed for a photo.\u00a0 On the left is Dave Gahimer, then Lyndon Johnson and me.\u00a0 Lyndon was a big help.\u00a0 Notice the bracing.\u00a0 Most of the bracing is anchored into the bedrock.\u00a0 Sometimes we couldn’t find the bedrock so we used Daves tractor to put large bolders at the end of the brace and then piled dirt and sand onto the bolder.\u00a0 If the bedrock was easy to get to we used a hammer and chisel to chop out a hole to set the brace into.<\/p>\n
