Bridgeton Mill Products

All Mill Products are fresh ground and whole grain-
We grind everything fresh at the mill with our 200yr old French Burr grindstones.
We offer both:
100% Whole Grain and Premade Mixes

blog-stone-dressing

We use only the best grains in our Stone Ground Products- hard wheat from Montana, buckwheat from northern Indiana, popcorn from Illinois, blue corn from Missouri, red corn from southern Mexico and the purple corn is native to South America.  Each of them is ground right there at the Mill then hand mixed and bagged by the family right on site!  There is no additional processing and no additives or preservatives in our products- it is fresh made and best served FRESH.  This ensures that the natural flavors and nutrients of the grains are all present when you get them.  This also means that if you aren’t able to use up the entire bag- please keep them in the fridge or the freezer.

We just installed this new shopping cart service on the site. You can try it and see if it works. Or, I will be at the Indy Winter Farmer’s Market in Indianapolis this Sat. @ The City Market in down town Indy.

Visited the mill in late June with my wife, daughter, and her boyfriend. We purchased some wheat pancake mix, cornbread mix, and popcorn fish batter. FInally got around to trying the fish batter, and just loved the taste and crunch of it. Hoping I can get some more for myself, and for some friends of ours. May start having fish 3 or 4 times a week! Simply delicious!
    Thanks!

What is the difference between bolted and unbolted?

  5. Chris Roe on October 22, 2013 at 1:17 am

    Thank You

Bolted is an old fashioned word for sifting. Bolted is finer. Unbolted is – unsifted – and is whole grain. some call unsifted – old fashioned cornmeal.

I was at the mill yesterday. The blackberry cobbler was wonderful. Mike had just taken it out of the oven and every bite was hot so good on a cold windy day. So glad you were there. Romaine
