Karen Talking to Mildred – 1994

web-1994-3This is one of my favorite photos.  Karen is talking to Mildred (Lady we bought the mill from).  I’m taking photos of the place.  The blue spot on the left is Karen’s arm.  I was trying to hide my excitement … but, I think Mildred saw through it.  She was showing us around and telling stories about the place.

    Thanks for photos. My Mother sent me a clipping about your getting a new roof and all. I am looking forward to buying some of your products and am so happy you did this. Do you just sell the grains during the warm weather? When are your products available?

    Yes, we sell the products during the summer at the mill April – Nov. In the winter we do shipping and/or Farmer’s Markets. We sell at the Terre Haute Farmer’s Market once a month when they have it.
