Foundation Work

After we finished work on the center of the dam we started on the foundation.  The plan is ….. if I haven’t told you …. Step #1.  Restore washout gate.  Step #2.  Use wash out gate to move water away from center of mill pond  Step #3.  Fix center of dam.  Step #4.  Restore foundation on mill and big gate.  Step  #5.  Move all the water to south side of creek using wash out gate and big gate.  Step #6.  Finish dam.

The photo is me drilling a hole for re-bar … we patched several spots with concrete and anchored the new concrete in with the re-bar.  this is inside the tunnel under the mill.
