Sawing Wood

There should be 2 photos on this blog. One is Dale Keys and his skid steer stacking lumber the Wood Mizers have made. Dale has been there everyday moving logs, lumber and anything else he can help with. He brought his own skid steer and volunteered to help.
The other photo should be Ethan’s drawing of the Bridgeton Mill and Covered Bridge. I have tried several times to get his drawing on here. Hopefully it will work this time.
We are going to take off Sunday (Easter) Mon, and Tuesday. Dan Collum and Terry Rooksberry have jobs they have to do. (Terry is running the 3rd Wood Mizer)
We have had several breakdowns. From a blown radiator to a mouse nest in one of the control boxes. I am impressed with the attitudes of the workers. They just shake their heads at the problems, get it fixed and then get back to work.
Don’t forget the auction coming up April 30th for the Covered Bridge. It will be held across from the Bridgeton Mill in Down Town Bridgeton. May 6th there is a “Volunteer Party” at the mill for folks interested in volunteering to work on the covered bridge this summer. We will give an idea of what kind of work done and signing folks up for times.
