After the dam was cleaned we removed as much water from the area as possible.  Then we started putting up the re-bar and wire.  This was anchored into the old dam.  Dave Gahimer is helping.  He was a big, big help with the whole project. Mike Roe

The plan is to restore the washout gate next to the mill and then use this gate to draw the water away from the center of the millpond.  Of course we have to wait until the creek is low.  We got our opportunity the next summer 2007.  We had very little rain for several weeks…..…
